Ariel Brandt Lautman (Silver Spring) and Jenni Gardiner (Mt. Pleasant) are avid knitters, lovers of local businesses, and harbor delusions of one day living on a farm with sheep and bees.
Ariel Brandt Lautman has been knitting for over ten years. She lives in Silver Spring with her partner Dan, her two kids, Ezra and Amalia, and her two cats, Dodger and Scout. Her favorite things to knit are socks, fingerless mits, and toys. When she’s not knitting she’s helping small businesses navigate technology, gardening, or hanging out with her kids at playgrounds. You can find her on ravelry, instagram, and twitter.
Jenni loved fiber arts as a small child (potholder loom anyone?) but didn’t get seriously into knitting until her early 20s. Her favorite things to knit are shawls, hats, cowls, and lace dishcloths. She lives in Mt. Pleasant with her dog and four cats. When not knitting she can be found watching PBS, doing a little yoga, playing mah jongg, or sponging up the outdoors. You can find her on ravelry and instagram.
